I highly recommend Chris’s Guide Service for guided fishing adventures in Alaska. For several years I have organized a group of friends to fish with Chris on Kodiak Island and we always have a good time and come home with lots of great memories and lots of great FISH! Many in our group have fished several different areas in Alaska, but the Kodiak area has some of the finest King salmon fishing available and the Halibut fishing (in very shallow water) is the best we have experienced in Alaska. The food and accommodations are top notch as well and Chris and his staff always make us feel at home.

Bob is an excellent guide that has current and historical knowledge of the Port Lions and greater Kodiak island area. His fishing skills nearly guarantee that fishing will be excellent and will push you to increase your skills while with him. Bob is also a conversation artist – he is never without a good story to keep the group entertained.
