Bob is an excellent guide that has current and historical knowledge of the Port Lions and greater Kodiak island area. His fishing skills nearly guarantee that fishing will be excellent and will push you to increase your skills while with him. Bob is also a conversation artist – he is never without a good story to keep the group entertained. I would highly recommend spending a day or a week with Bob and you will be sure to have an unforgettable experience on Kodiak island.

Wilderness Beach Lodge is an amazing experience. The accommodations are very comfortable; a real “homey” atmosphere. The staff is so pleasant; from the head chef to the young ladies who package your catch. Coming from someone who is not usually an outdoor sportswoman, I highly recommend this fishing experience. Alaska is so beautiful and the fishing guides are knowledgeable, not only on how to catch which fish where, but also on Alaskan history and wildlife. This is and always will be one of my favorite vacations with my family. This is Alaska fishing at its finest.
